We provide rehabilitation services across the continuum - acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, sub-acute rehabilitation, homecare, outpatient centers, and in community settings such as senior centers, work sites, and schools and colleges.

OverviewWe are looking for a leader to join our outpatient team in Cromwell, CT.
This is an exciting new opportunity within the Hartford Healthcare Rehabilitation Network.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with leadership experience and a sports medicine/orthopedic focus.
This position will be within a new office located along side of a sports complex.
This location will have the ability to provide aquatic therapy, sports medicine partnering with local teams/athletes focusing on hockey and ice skating, and access to an athletic complex.
This leader should have an understanding of program development and relationship-building in order to make this office successful.
Specialty programs in the office will include general orthopedics, low back pain management, sports medicine, headache management, musculoskeletal disorders, osteoporosis, work injury rehab and more!In this leadership position, the Site Supervisor will supervise the operational activities of the Outpatient Rehab Site and collaborate with Rehab Leadership on the management of patient care, day-to-day operations and department personnel.
The Site Supervisor is responsible for staff development, hiring, supervising and evaluating team members.
The Site Supervisor utilizes an operating model to assist with supply management, policies and procedures, patient scheduling, patient and staff safety, operational monitoring, regulatory compliance, employee engagement and the overall timeliness and quality of services provided to customers.
The Site Supervisor is responsible for metrics reporting and dashboards, as well as referral management.
Approximately 85% of time spent in a direct patient care capacity; 15% spent in administrative capacity.
Position DescriptionPosition is Monday-Friday, full time, 40 hours/week, with some evenings required until 7pm.
This is a treating/management position.
In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, this position ensures that high quality, cost effective services are delivered in support of the organizations strategic plan, goals and objectives.
The Site Supervisor also manages site resources:
human, material, and financial, in order to ensure quality, cost-effective delivery of patient services for specific patient populations who require the needs of outpatient physical therapy.
This is accomplished either by direct action, delegation or coaching and support of self-directed work teams or individuals.

Contributing to the development of meaningful goals and objectives for the department that align with the strategic direction of the organization by analyzing needs and developing recommendations.
Communicating the goals and objectives to the staff and monitors progress during the year.
Establishing performance expectations; coaching, developing, and evaluating performance to enable employees to be successful in contributing to the achievement of individual and department objectives.
Informing and advising superior on hiring and disciplinary actions.
Contributing to the efficient operation of the unit by establishing priorities, eliminating impediments, and resolving problems.
Continually striving to improve the quality and productivity of the department by establishing priorities, monitoring performance measurements, identifying and recommending improvement opportunities, and eliminating obstacles.
Actively seeking opportunities to model teamwork through collaboration both within and outside the department in support of the organization's objectives.
Qualifications Minimum 3 years' experience required; 5 years' experience preferred Experience as clinical instructor or mentor required Prior experience in a leadership role preferred Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
Current CT Physical Therapist (PT) license.
Strong communications skills required - both written and verbal.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as electronic health records and other software applications.
Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal direction.
Teamwork and mentoring skills required.
History of strong leadership, communication and clinical skills required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
