Maintenance Mechanic II

Job Description
Diagnose, repair, lubricate, reassemble, and otherwise perform general maintenance activities.
Develop and fabricate accessory fixtures or guards for machines and equipment. Adjust machine mechanisms such as feed, speed, power input, or output.
Report complex repairs, defective material, improper operation, and unusual conditions or questions to supervisor.
Repair portable power tools.
Remain current in technical changes or equipment designs by attending classes or participating in company training programs.
Maintain records of work performed, details of repairs, and material usage.
Maintain and service overhead cranes
Perform pre-job safety planning
Work in heights of up to 40 feet.
The Individual
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform basic mathematical equations in an industrial setting
Up to 2 years of work experience in manufacturing or industrial position
Experience with hand tools and shop tools
Willing to work at heights up to 40 feet
Troubleshooting experience with pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
General welding experience
Successful completion of pre-employment maintenance exam

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
