Project Manager



The Project Manager is responsible for the timely planning and execution of multiple, complex product development projects (PPG, VAVE, and systems). The Project Manager ensures all project milestones are completed on time, within budget and at expected quality levels, at all stages of the tollgate process from project inception to post launch (TG2-TG7). The Project Manager will implement best-in-class project management practices while being responsible for his/her own assigned projects.
  • Define and manage project scope, plans, timelines, costs, project integration, resources, communication, continuous improvement and risk management throughout the project/account lifecycle.
  • Document project milestones in a comprehensive matrix. Ensure that the matrices are maintained on a regular basis and ensure budgets are up to date. Direct the tracking and reporting of projects between milestones. Direct the management of detailed schedules for complex projects. Monitor and review project progress across all complex projects, including budgets and project risks.
  • Forecast staffing requirements across multiple functions and departments; work with cross-functional leaders to influence and drive new product development resourcing to achieve project milestones.
  • Define resourcing strategies, allocates budgets, staff, tools, and specialized support needed for cost effective project delivery.
  • Facilitate and lead TG2 and TG2. 5 kaizen meetings to define project scope, timeline and product requirements.
  • Report out at Product Planning Group (PPG) and all stages of the tollgate process and reviews. Schedule project reviews and report to the Management Team and others as required.
  • Communicate project analytics, status, plans and strategies to senior management team. Accountable to track operation metrics and financials to manage project profitability
  • Direct the identification and resolution of key project issues with project management or senior executive management.
  • Work with Marketing to prepare business cases for portfolio review and to develop and manage technology/product roadmaps.
  • Guide business in standard work practices for new product development, including LEAN Product Development, Speed Design Review, PPL, and Visual Project Management.
  • Ensure that latest quality standards are followed and enforced within all new product development project.


  • BS degree in a technical field required. MS/MBA strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years managing large complex cross-functional projects.
  • Working knowledge of process change methodologies and best practices. Comprehensive knowledge of project and audit best practices.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal & leadership skills with experience in dealing with senior management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, communication, analytical and problem solving skills, and short term and long term planning skills.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio), Project Enterprise Server, Sharepoint.
  • Expert understanding of new product development and project lifecycles.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new project requirements on an existing team workload.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • PMI certification strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in the use of project management software, i. e., M. S. Projects
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
May be assigned various projects and responsibilities, at the sole discretion of the Director of Engineering.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
